If I didn’t fall pregnant I would of still been with my partner and having a hardship abusive relationship till this day, But realising you cant bring a child into this world like that, I found the courage to leave, But luckily for me I had good friends and family who helped me through it, Many people don’t have that option and don’t see a way out! <3

I wonder when she will make a video about the 50% of domestic violence against men. Being a feminist she obviously is all about equality and fairness.

Still peddling this shite video that makes out that it’s all male on Female violence ! You havent got a fucking clue ! When I start seeing balanced videos that show men equally being victims, then I’ll respect that ! Everything is there for female victims . . .What help is there for male victims . . . The police told me to call the fucking samaritans ! :(

Part 1 May I state that men are also sufferers of dv however in proportion to women it is miniscule and when it results in loss of life less than one a year it receives massive publicity. As regards the flip comment “she should have made him a sandwich” I hope his partner is aware of this comment as I think she should be,

however with this attitude I presume he has neither!!! Also re the rainbowrapist (strange title) as regards men v women reporting DV check the statistics that can not lie, how many women v how many men die as a result of DV in a year, I know my sister was one victim, please all support the fight against DV malevfemale or vice verca and if you do not have a valid sensible comment do not post it.

i think that any man that really does this to a women should go straight to hell, its horrible, just evil.
but sometimes women do act more victimised than what they really are, like if you break up with ur girlfriend its all of a sudden your fault. its like “what?”

Oh my gosh!!! that is something no one should go through, seeing something like this gets you to think about both women and men who go through it.

Wrong. The majority of cases that get reported and prosecuted involve female victims. Male victims are far less likely to report it (men are expected to be tough) and even if it is reported, it may not taken seriously by the police. So really, you’re going by padded statistics from a society with double standards (of which these videos do reinforce), when some experts suggest that women do hit men just as much or even more.

You’re sounding ignorant. Yeah, you’re allowed to have an opinion. But men always cry “Omg women are bad too!” of course they are. But more women than men suffer from domestic abuse. There is a big difference. Who are you calling a chav? What right do you have to call me a chav? I don’t even live in the UK. You’re the one sounding like a chav.

@TheSparkle7 woah, woah, woah! The majority of domestic violence cases are the women being abused. The media isn’t shoving anything in anyone’s faces, there simply giving women AND MEN a resource and encouraging people to leave the abusive situations. Never have I seen a domestic violence comercial say “how bad men are”, those are your words and your words only. They are not generalizing abusive men with decent men.

No. That men remain a victim of domestic abuse does not discredit the fact that a small but significant proportion of women are terrified to return to their own homes. Ones sex is not an issue. Violence, be it domestic or otherwise is categorically wrong, and any step to prevent it is a good thing. Big up this film and any initiative to reduce the number of people who get battered on a daily basis.

always the same men r always demonised by the fuckin neo feminist media

  24. MusicTributeVideo says:

    June 6th, 2010 at 9:36 am

I agree. Men *do* get abused as well. Domestic violence hurts both men and women alike.

Actually this would be more correct if Bruce Willis came home and was wacked. Men get abused too.
